Travel time to central Madrid is approximately 25-30 minutes depending on traffic. The fare is approximately €20-€30 including airport supplements Please ignore any offers for taxi services inside the terminals. Check that the taxi puts the meter on at the beginning of the journey (flag down). Ask for a receipt just in case you wish to make a complaint. Metro The airport Metro station is located in Terminal 2 on the connecting corridor to Parking area 2. Traveling to central Madrid involves transferring at Mar de Cristal (Line 8, pink line) to your required destination. Trains run daily from 6 a.m. to 2 a.m.. Travel time to central Madrid, via Lines 4(brown line) and 6(grey line), is approximately 40 minutes. Fare for the train is €1 plus €2 extra charge. Download a map of Madrid's underground network.
