EXHIBITIONS

The 19th World Petroleum Congress will be accompanied by two different exhibitions, spread over more than 19.000 net m2. It is expected that more than 500 exhibitors would be showing their national or corporate identity, their activities, products and services to the oil and gas community.

World Petroleum Exhibition

To provide a practical platform for the industry and its developments, the World Petroleum Congress will be complemented by the World Petroleum Exhibition, which will be held under the same roof as the 19th WPC at the Madrid’s IFEMA Centre, allowing participants to visit both the presentations and the exhibitions.

Over 4,000 delegates are expected to visit 19th World Petroleum Congress, with a further 10,000 attendees coming to visit the exhibition. As the only global petroleum event alongside the world’s largest oil and gas Congress, the World Petroleum Exhibition will be providing space for approximately 500 exhibitors on 19,000 net square meters.

The Global Business Opportunities Centre (GBOC 2008)

The GBOC 2008 is an area of the exhibition solely reserved for the National Committees of the World Petroleum Council’s member countries. This enables each of the National Committees to represent and showcase their domestic petroleum industry to delegates, exhibitors and visitors.
