The Congress theme will be addressed through Plenary Sessions, Best Practice Keynotes, Fora and Round Tables.

Following the Plenary Sessions there will be concurrent events, organized in four main subject blocks.

In addition to the four blocks, Special Sessions will be held, where issues of global relevance will be addressed, such as long term perspectives for water sources and demand, the attraction and retention of young talent, and social responsibility issues.

Also, an opportunity will be provided for Ministerial Sessions (country presentations), where government agencies and authorities will be able to profile their respective petroleum industry perspectives, including resources potential, infrastructure and regulatory framework.

In summary, the 19th World Petroleum Congress features a comprehensive set of subjects which are key to future petroleum developments, to be addressed by high level officials and authorities, specialists and the most capable professionals of the industry.
