THE VENUE


The 19th World Petroleum Congress will be held in IFEMA-Feria de Madrid, located next to Campo de las Naciones, at the North East of the city, in one of the new business hub areas of greatest personality and development, just 5 minutes by car or underground from the Madrid Barajas International Airport. It is also connected to the business heart of the city just 10 minutes with the express underground line and surrounded by the city's major motorways, allowing easy access by car from almost every part of Madrid.

IFEMA-Feria de Madrid has traditionally been the place where the major commercial exhibitions have been held in Madrid, with 12 different halls for exhibitions and a total covered area of more than 200.000m2

Within Feria de Madrid grounds there is also a wide range of services, such as video and photography, travel agency, bank services, security service, the Official Society of Commercial Agents of Madrid Office, goods transit service and customs agent, messenger and parcel service, handling and storage, tobacconists and stationery shop, self-service hardware shop and a post office.

IFEMA Feria de Madrid’s presents a full range of high quality international gastronomical offerings. From the simplest snack to the most sophisticated menu, right in the exhibition centre. In addition to catering services in private rooms, the Feria de Madrid has five restaurants and a large number of cafeterias, pavement cafés, buffets and fast-food areas distributed along the Central Avenue and inside the different exhibition halls.

The 19th World Petroleum Congress, the World Petroleum Exhibition, and the Global Business Opportunity Centre (GBOC) will take place at the North Convention Centre and pavilions 5, 7 and 9.
